Day : 03 Koggala lake Boat tour

Koggala Lake near Koggala in Sri Lanka. One of the largest natural lakes in Koggala is a freshwater lagoon which sits 9.8 feet (3 metres) above the sea level near the south coast. Koggala Lake is alive with birdlife and dotted with lots of mini islands, Bordered by jungle and forest. Including Temple Island, Cinamon Island, Spice Garden. Sinharaja Rain Forest is one of the few virgin forests left in the world. This evergreen rain forest, a UNESCO World heritage site, is one of the few virgin rain forests left to date. Damp mysterious and teeming with life, is the last expensive stretch of virgin rain forest on the island. At just over 11000 hectares, line across the wet zone the Southern edge of the hill country. It is staggering array of flora and fauna place it among the top bio diversity in the world.
